Canvas functions on several smart phones and tablets that run either iOS or Android. Students can download free Canvas apps on iOS and Android devices. Keep the following in mind that Canvas mobile apps provide students the ability to partake in a course via their smartphone or tablet. Messages/Communications, grades, modules, quizzes (limited availability), and files are all accessible via Canvas mobile apps as well.

Note: Taking a quiz is supported in the Canvas App, however, since quizzes are crucial it is recommended to use a desktop computer when taking a quiz. Any issues taking a quiz in Canvas on a mobile device does not grant you the ability to take the exam again. This is the same thing with crucial assignment, make sure you verify that your assignment is turned in within the time frame allowed by your instructor. Any assignments submitted after the close time for an assignment will not be accepted by Canvas.

IMPORTANT

You may not be able to locate North Central Texas College on the school list the first time you try to login to NCTC eCampus on the Canvas app for iOS or Android devices. Instead, simply input the following URL to connect to NCTC eCampus: https://nctc.instructure.com.
